Good morning! Good morning! Good morning! Have you ever experienced lightheadedness? This condition, or experience, is when you feel like your body is disconnected with your brain. You lose all sense of functionality. Your speech becomes slurred; you feel faint; there’s also heart palpitations. What’s taking place, actually, becomes annoying and, yet, baffles the mind to how can this malfunction take place.

I had a pretty tough weekend because it felt like my vertigo was mixing with lightheadedness. Yeah, a feeling I wish on no one. I felt the symptoms of the vertigo, however, the predominant symptoms stemmed from being lightheaded. Did you know that dehydration can cause you to be lightheaded? That’s pretty significant!

Causes of lightheadedness can include illnesses, anxiety, and dehydration. The most common cause of lightheadedness is orthostatic hypotension, which is a sudden drop in blood pressure when a person stands up. How do I stop feeling light headed? How you can treat dizziness yourself

  1. lie down until dizziness passes, then get up slowly.
  2. move slowly and carefully.
  3. get plenty of rest.
  4. drink plenty of fluids, especially water.
  5. avoid coffee, cigarettes, alcohol and drugs.
