“I Guess It’s Not …”

When is enough, enough?
The driving force of ambition overrides simple things
Basic things that ring primary
Becoming unnecessary when the focus only on the “game”
Its aim bruises, hurts, seals one fate
Mandated for the opposed
Who cares how it goes?
They are merely the disposed
That’s tight
That’s deep
A great reward for the reaped
I guess the feeling of annihilation stands to wonder
However, to ponder … has culprits ever considered defeated’s attachments?
Fragmented by watching their loved one dishonored?
To you, why bother?
I mean, if that position, money or opportunity is worth it for the rebuff …
Then, I guess … enough is NOT enough
